Our Investment Strategy
Maverick Southwest Investments (MSI) is interested in purchasing multifamily assets with any of the following characteristics:
- Real estate fee interests, partnership interests, or notes where MSI has the flexibility to respond quickly and close;
- Real estate assets that are "Environmentally Challenged"; MSI maintains specific expertise in the acquisition and redevelopment of properties with mold, asbestos, lead-based paint;
- Distressed debt situations – MSI has the ability to purchase first lien and mezzanine debt on multifamily properties as a means to obtain title to the property;
- Change of use situations – demolition of obsolete properties in prime locations to maximize highest and best use.
Acquisition Requirements
- Multifamily, Retail, Condominium, Office, Land
- Minimum Acquisition $1 million — no Maximum
- Targeting "A" and "B" Locations in Southwestern U.S.
- Texas: Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and surrounding cities.
- Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada.
- Single Asset Purchases or Portfolios
